You bring the idea. We do the technical part, in the order a garment is really made.

A drawing, a technical sheet, a photo or the garment itself. Send it on WhatsApp, by email, or by courier.

We cut the pattern
Every piece drafted in our pattern software, with seam allowances, notches and grain lines.

You check a first sample
We sew a sample from the pattern so you can see the fit before you spend on production.

We grade it into your sizes
Once the fit is right, the pattern is graded into the size range you sell.

Markers nested on your fabric width and printed card sets or digital files, ready for the factory.

Embroidery, file included
We stitch logos and designs on two industrial embroidery machines, and we make the embroidery file ourselves from your logo or drawing, then stitch it on your garments.
The price depends on how big and detailed the design is, the number of stitches, and whether a new file has to be made.

Marius ran his own business in Romania for 20 years, then worked in London fashion studios before starting RIUS Design in East London. Today he drafts, grades and digitises patterns in professional pattern software and makes the samples in the studio.

Questions we're asked
Do you work with small brands and one-off pieces?
Yes. We take on a single pattern, one first sample or a short run of embroidered pieces, as well as full size ranges.
What should I send you?
Whatever you have: a sketch, a technical sheet, photos or a garment to copy. Add the sizes you need and when you need them, and we'll tell you the price.
I'm not in London. Can you still help?
Yes. We work with clients across the UK. You send the sketch or sample by courier or online, and we send back the pattern, files or finished pieces.
How do you price a pattern?
By the garment and how complex it is: the number of pieces, the details and the sizes. Pattern cutting is £120 to £500, and we confirm the exact price before we start.
Can you make the embroidery file from my logo?
Yes. We create the embroidery file in-house and stitch it on our multi-needle machines. Embroidery starts from £10 a piece, depending on the stitch count and whether a new file is needed.
